Cant you look at the old one???
I have a 00 mille they use a ytx bs12 as standard but i have put a ytx14bs in mine as they fit too. I used a lucas exactly the same as yuasa but cheaper by about 15quid i think i paid 32quid inc delivery.

other option is do the full upgrade to lithium.. there are some REALLY high quality american made ones by Ballistic Technology the larger capacity model is best, their 12 cell, its under £120.. and lasts at least twice as long as a lead acid. They don't need alterations to the charging system, and most optimate type chargers are absolutely fine to use.. but only needed occasionally, as they only loose 10% of their charge in year.
Equivalent capacity to a 20AH Lead batt, 410CCAmps and a full 3KG weight saving.. cant be bad.. cost you a lot to loose 3kg from anything else so high up on the bike

IF someone convinces you that you'll need a balance charger ( I will get one.. myself) they are available for £20
Equivalent capacity to a 20AH Lead batt, 410CCAmps and a full 3KG weight saving.. cant be bad.. cost you a lot to loose 3kg from anything else so high up on the bike

sweeping statement, I've read otherwise.. but its not just a case of better.. cost comes into it. For your £115 you can get a Shorai, 18AH, 270CCA, or a Ballistic 12cell, 20AH, 410CCA, and considering its the starting surge of these litre twins that does the damage, i'll take the CCA's
