Help me PPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEE ?????

Oh NO, that dreaded sound of a screw falling down my R/H side exhaust pipe, Taken off can & link pipe & tried,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
1-Hook & wire
2-Magnet
3-Hoover
4-Blowing out when fired up
Cant even locate the screw to get an idea as where to hook in downpipe
Any other ideas please ?
2008 RSVR with after market cans and link pipes,
They are straight thru race cans so deffo NOT in can,,,,,,,,,,,,

Has it jammed in the perforations :dunno

or just wheelie up and down the street :biggrin

iv,e took off the link pipe & can so the srew is in header pipe somewhere thats still attatched to the bike ??????

Try some thick grease on the end of a screwdriver and shove that down, hopefully the screw will stick to it :thumbup

I would say that a magnet attached to a straightened out coathanger or something would be your best bet but it sounds like you've already tried that without success?

well if it's in the header it can't be far coz it won't travel uphill, it may well be stuck in the perforated core which is what you can see when you look down the can, what size of screw and what is it off?

I reckon it is not there any longer and as someone said start sweeping the floor, i doubt it would go back as far as the exhaust port so i don't think you have anything to worry about, unless it is a valuable screw that is:devious
