HELP ME PLEASE, 2000 Mille cutting out

HELLO GUYS PLEASE HELP ME
I'm at my whits end lol I have a 2000 X reg mille that has now got a problem, it keeps cutting out when I stop,
I can be riding it fast no problem but as I get to a set of lights or have to stop it cuts out..
I turn it off with the ignition key and back on and she fires up but will cut out again...
After about 5 to 10 attempts it's fine till I have to stop again..
It's like turning it off resets something and I'm hoping it's not the ECU, if so is it an easy fix

Love the apillia and miss her when she's ill lol please help
Ps I have bypassed the stand cut off switch...

Does it cut out once your in neutral and idle revs when you stop? Does it turn over with out switching the ignition off? Im thinking the idle is set to low, maybe worn spark plugs.

No it is not all the time gordie it when I'm in low gears low revs the power just dies and won't start until I turn the key off and on again but I have to do this several times... Once I get some speed up its fine

Thanks for ya help guys it turned out to be a faulty tilt switch so hope this helps if u have the same problem...

I have same symptoms. ...will change that switch over.
