Help importing a bike from the Isle of Man

Help please
I am looking for information/help in negotiating the minefield
Trying to import my 2005 Gen1 Tuono from the Isle of Man
can anybody guide me

easy enough to do, make sure you've got the docs from iom to say it's gone off the island, mot it over here on the frame number and then apply for v5.
technically you're not importing it as it will of been a uk supplied bike anyway that was registered over there first. just a case of registering it with dvla.
 
You shouldn't have any issues, I moved over to Germany and imported my Duke and when I came back 3 years later joust got it mot'd on the VIN and took the paperwork to the DVLA office and they processed it there and then.

not as simple as that, if the bike was purchased in the IOM and never registered in the UK then VAT will apply when bringing it into the UK
 
you sure? it's not part of the eu but something on the lines of possession of the crown?
