Help - high rpm misfire

The ever reliable 2000 Mille developed a sudden misfire above 7K rpm only. Has always run great before. It has a Factory Pro chip and a Leo pipe.
I pulled the plugs and the rears were gas fouled, while the front looked great. One of the rear cylinder spark plug boots fell off in my hand, so I thought I found the culprit.
I cut back the wire a pinch, threaded the boot back on and put new plugs in. It ran good for about 5 minutes then the problem returned. Any ideas greatly appreciated!

FYI for the next guy this happens to:
The airbox was saturated with oil. The air filter was damaged also. The likely culprit appears to be a leaking vacuum clutch diaphragm, that drawed oil up to the rear cylinder.
The problem did not show up on a dyno since the bike was level, only under hard throttle and ram air.
