Hi all,
I have just had a call from my Dyno man saying that the engine management light is on, and holding the lap button in for 20 seconds when switching on does not enter diagnostics mode so he can't figure out the problem
History:
Bought the bike, revved it up to check for rattles but no test ride.
Trailered it home, had a little bimble round the village just to make sure it rode ok. It did
Fitted a second hand power commander, bike started ok and revved (but I probably only checked up to about 3k)
Took it to the Dyno man,
He says he can't get it to rev past 3.5k, presumably due to the engine management light. He disconnected the power commander, but still no joy and he can't get diagnostics mode.
Can anyone suggest what I/ he can try before I trailer it to my local dealer .
Cheers for reading this !
