New 2020 RSV4 Factory owner.. Not your typical RSV owner as I'm 6'4" tall and a big guy. Former racer, recently paroled from Harley Davidson land.. I needed the fun again and the Ape called my name.

Green with envy, mine is a year 2000 Mille. Thats had an interesting life by the looks of it, been reading and viewing everything about my new obsession, the reviews for the Factory RSV4 are just great to read, you must be over made up on one. Funny thing re size, heard the Aprilia was big, but seems to feel smaller than my Triumph ST sprint. Read they were tall in the sadle but I am 5'10" and 30 inside leg but can easily reach the floor and feels secure. Then again my last bke was a Suzuki DR800 "Dr Big" and that was a bit tall in the saddle, but ok if you didnt accidentally pull up at lights by a drain cover!
Stay safe and hope you enjoy your new mount, still green with envy - lets have some pics!!

I'll get some photos posted this weekend. I came from an 05 Honda CBR1000RR before I switched to a Harley tourer..
The RSV blew my mind last night on the ride home from work.. Coming off the freeway, I dropped a couple of gears and then mistakenly dropped to 1st gear at around 60mph.. The slipper and engine management just soaked it up without even a wiggle, and the suspension is just pure F'ing magic..

More exciting than my first trip to the end of the road, took it out for a few hundred yards and the gear lever came undone:mad:. Stranded at the bottom of my road, lucky only a walk back to the garage to get and allen key to tighten it back up!! Thought it was tight as had been changing gear over last couple of days in the garage but must have pressed harder when out on the road. That said my Clutch is a bit strange, can hear a rumble when in neutral and clutch lever released, also it was dragging badly yesterday on the paddock stands, had to use rear brake to stop it while in neutral, so decided to completely drain clutch down and refresh fluid and bleed etc. See if that improves things, it def needed doing as the fluid was grey!! As I bought this bike cheap as a project, no big drama. It has been standing for a couple of years at least. In for its MOT on Tuesday, fingers crossed. Must admit was looking for a foxeye blade or a 954 before picked this up, the prices are a lot higher for blades, but still would like to own one, couldn't afford it when I was young enough to enjoy it, probably too old now to fully get the most out of it.
Stay safe😇

I'm thinking about getting the lava red 2021 Rsv4 factory edition? Is it a good bike for tall people? I'm 6'2". How do you like the new color? Just wondering. Thanks.
