Had a few minor probs on delivery, couldnt pick it up from dealer due to rain and freezing temps, but all seems ok now...sprag also seems fine. hope to do a few mods in due course

Cheers

Hello mate and welcome. You've got some other Zoners up there. 01 is the RSV's vintage year, as anyone on here will tell you!

Welcome to the RSVzone there matey, enjoy your Ape!

Welcome to the forum mate, happy times are ahead in summer.

Anything you want to know just ask, the guys on here know everything your local dealer knows and some. Difference is we won't charge you £60 an hour for advice. LOL

Another yellow one, what about blue ones.

Starting to feel unloved now :cry

Thanks all, You sound like a good bunch (got it plugged in to Optimate already). Happy times ahead.

How do buddy......welcome to the site, so many knowledgable folk on to help you out, where abouts are bud? I'm in East Whitburn, West Lothian so we'll get a run sorted to the Green Welly or that!!

Cheers:thumbup

Thanks all. I feel at home already. To andirsv, im in motherwell just a few miles from you perhaps get a run out sorted out sometime in the new year. Just a general question to anyone out there. My RSVR came with a mix of tyres Diablo rear, Pilot sport front, dont ask me why cause I cant see the logic, both scrubbed in with plenty of wear left on both. Ive read good things about both diablo and pilot. Which should I replace? Weather here is not the best and I was thinking about changing the front pilot sport for a Diablo is this the wise choice for the usual scottish climate??

MAY i hear you say :exclamation
Is it that bad up there in Scotland.

You can still use them in Winter down here as i found out today.

Its not that bad, Im just a bit cautious with the mix tyres and only having ridden 2 miles on it so far. Ive never had a sports twin before....sounds like loads of excuses but Im so feckin excited about it first ride felt strange.... but goood!!...not as planted as Id expected cold tyres perhaps. Nice pic of your bike you should be proud!!

AJH....definately get a run when the weather picks up! Tyre situation....i'd change the front as the Diablo's a great tyre for summer and will be cheaper than replacing the rear!!

P.S bud......do you know of any welders near us???? Need to sort my sidestand!!

Welcome to the zone ajh :thumbup get some pics posted of your new ride :thumbup
