Jeffo welcome aboard mate, great site loads of info and help.

Welcome mate, use the site and post loads :thumbup:thumbup

Welcome to the forum. I've only recently got hold of a low miler '99 Mille after a ZZR1200, and really find the lack of any kind of grunt under 4000 a bit difficult to get used to, especially trundling in traffic below around 50:unhappy. How're you finding it?

WHAT...:confused...yer brakes must be stuck on...Hmmm unless you were being sarcastic...!...:biggrin

reply to trackrod944 you could have what i had on mine and thats a cracked sparkplug cap

Thanks all for the replys
In answer to some of the questions sorry cant make sunday at work but will be on holiday next week in skegness and going to watch the track days on thursdays at cadwell so if anyone there might see you.
The brakes on the zzr were so wooden, constantly needing overhalls and the brembos are awsome on the aprilia with so much stopping power.
To trackrod944 I have found that it took me a week to get used to the different power delivery difficult at slow speeds under 10mph ie mini roundabouts but a grin everywhere else better handling and corner speed. The best investment i have made in years

Jeffo, I had wavey discs on the ZZR12 which gave it blinding braking. No problems with the brakes or handling on the Mille, but I definitely do have a problem (see other messages) which makes it not a very nice bike to ride at anything under around 60. Looks like it's either wrong chip or plug cap problem. Blinding bike though for all my problems!
