Hello from the valleys

Hi everyone I'm a total newb to the rsvr after trading in my falco and like many before me I have found a few gremlins but that's for another thread another day . So ....about me I'm 42 serving a life sentence ( some call it married ) without any signs of early parole ...sigh started riding at around 12 on dirt bikes then at 14 bought my first bike a really old barely running rd250 dx thought I was so cool riding into the school car park and tying my lid to the leather belt holding my seat together il never forget that day as it was the same day I got suspended and someone had nicked my helmet and my seat ( still had the belt though ) roll on 26 years and i had seen a bike I really wanted but had never done my test so there I am on a 50cc moped doing my cbt passed straight in for my theory passed ( just ) mod 1 failed due to 0.6 mph to slow gutted ten days later back in and passed happy day 2 weeks later I'm in for my mod 2 seemed like only 15 mins and we were heading back bugger sure I'd failed but passed yay so I bought my mates R1 had it 4 months bored bought a scruffy looking falco which I thought had potential so I got her ready for the road and fell in love that day with the twin and a few months down the road I got the chance to buy my 04 rsv factory r only it was really just the r model as the wheels forks damper and shock had all been swapped for standard but that hasn't bothered me she has her faults just like the mrs but I love em and hope to stay and soak all the knowledge up from fellow mental patients I mean owners
