HI All........... Quick hello ,some may know me from other sites, have 09 reg tuo/fac, 52reg 955i speed triple and 98reg ER5 as work bike .I am 55reg but love riding fast ~ish. Live southampton way. Hope to meet up some time, KEV.

Hi, interested to hear hownyou compare the triple to the V twin. I realise there's a few years between them.

The triple is a good bike (race can,K&N,+P/C =114rwbhp~64t) saying that you do have to push it into corners not like the T , the engine has good torque then again not like the T. The 7yrs difference does show a tad. Bet a new 1050 is a bit better. Luv the T (full akro +k&n) also lots of bits added.

Hiya snowman,I`m near chichester so not far from you :thumbup(grooming alert !! :) ).A few of us get up Loomies, Foxes diner(now `H`s) at oxford,Boxhill,Bury hill,Portdown hill most weekends,We did a `little`260 mile run out on saturday :crazy,Anyway, your more than welcome to come out with us idiots anytime mate. To answer Tricky`s question,I came off (literally :banghead)a 1050 speed triple and on to my 07 factory,in comparison I found the S3 like Joe Frazier, all brawn and no brain, realy got a fat midrange that is hard to beat and the 4th gear `roll on`is hard to beat, but still a fookin hoon to ride,Where as the Tuono to me is like Cassius Clay, floats like a butterfly and is a better handler alround, although for `torquey ness`(is the such a word)I dont think the `seat of the pants`can tell much difference:thumbup

Welcome sman, yer must be in danger of turning intae a puddle wae this hot spell.

Gloin i get at loomies and portsdown hill alot usually sundays, "ships in the night" i guess, hope to meet you soon while the lovely weather exists? My stepson and grand kids etc live in Southbourne not far from you.

Tricky was at Bala lake on 15th till 19th (j/lewis hotel) did 300mls around the area , good roads no police YET. Sadly was in the wifes car a really powerful yaris ????

Police in North Wales aren't the baddies they were when Blundstome was the Chief Inspector, The new Spec is a biker himself and has a much more tolerant attitude. Will take your details & so ling as you don't keep appearing on the radar will give benefit of tyhe doubt. I got stopped around Dollgellau, speeding with no tax. (was in the post honest Guv.) & was let off & didn't even have to produce. the officer explained the scenario to me. Got speaking to an off duty officer who was also a T owner whilst over at Griffs last week reckoned in west Mercia traffic numbers have shrunk by over 1/2 what it was a few years ago due to cuts.

The cops are pretty good around here, its those bloody camera vans no chance of talking way out or seeing that your not a young teararse
