I have just bought a rsv1000 factory on a 53 plate.
I would like to know what are the most cost effective and recomended upgrades as my bike has been kept in a heated garage all its life and has never been wet even when its been cleaned!
Its life is about to change dramatically as i am into trackdays and it will get used for them as well as going to europe on.
I have ordered a set of pipes for it and a K&N filter a tail tidy what other mods have people been doing to add power, smoothness and useability?

make sure you get map2 uploaded onto the ecu or go for a pc3 with either a donloaded map or go for a custom map

change the gearing lots of info on here just do a search

mpl slave cylinder to make the clutch lighter

Tell me more about the map 2 upload?
And Biff i am looking for low cost tuning as this is far from the only bike i have i am a bike junkie!
