Hi there , I am from Manchester but left to escape the rain, to the snow . anyhow I found a 2006 Tuono with a seized engine at 39 km, , drove to the Uk to Hull to get an engine from binditbike spares with 16 k miles on it , its in but so far no Joy , so Here I am , cheers Mark R

Welcome Mark,
Sounds like quite an adventure to acquire a reasonably priced Gen2. Why 'no joy' when it's in? Is it a non-starter, or are you still fitting all the ancillary bits?

yes I found it on the Swiss version of Ebay Ricardo,ch was about 900 quid, the guy had a new v4 and just wanted shut !!! the engine cost me 380 quid , I got it to fire today with some brake cleaner down the intake its running a bit rough and has the stepper motor code 44 and I have to bridge the starter relay as that's buggered I guess from when the original engine died and he tried in vain to get it running

and yes you are right its Cheaper to fly to the USA to go skiing then Drive a couple of hours and get fleeced on an hourly basis
