Can anyone tell me where I can get some heat proof zorst shield tape that I can run around then wire lock around the pipe coming from the back cylinder so my relocated brake components don't get red hot?

Thanks

Spot on, I'll give em a call now.

Thanks everyone, I'll update the pics in my garage when I have fitted the tape.

Beers owed............again!:devious

Thanks for the offer Billy :thumbup, I was after the black stuff, so have already ordered it online. (About 15 minutes ago)

Kind thought though

Make sure you get the rear pipe glowing a nice cherry red before you start wrapping it Viper, oh, and take a video of it for the "How to section":pirate

Yes Bing I will, just before I burn my fecking fingers off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was 12 I might well believe you....................BUT I know you.....

GIT!

On a serious note Bing, did you wrap the front pipe too, or did you just do the rear?

rear only, it's fine like that, my aim was to stop the shock overheating and losing damping, nothing to do with the rear brake, but mine is fine anyway, the headers on my bike are great big fat 60mm ones and ceramic coated to keep them cooler:thumbup
