Heal protectors for Akro link pipe

Does anyone have any solutions for protecting the link pipe on the 03 or earlier RSV's when used with an Akro race can. I could really use a heal guard of some sort to stop the marks on the pipe.

Any qdvice would be appreciated.

Where abouts on the link pipe Hotrout? I wear size 11 Astars SMX plus but i don't get any marks, i guess in your case, caused by the heel of the boot on the link pipe? The only marks i get is where the link pipe joins the standard headers. It's alway baffled me how the toes of the boot could possible touch the pipe but it seems to happen. I just autosol the marks off
