Headlights gen 2

I have just replaced a bulb in my headlights and noticed the top two bulbs light on dip and the bottom two (including blue dash light) when handlebar switch is on main?

Is this right? Wires to bulbs too short to swap over?

Weird though? Although MOT man not mentioned anything and my playing with lights behind Vans at Traffic lights seems to confirm at that distance main is lower than dip :dunno

Also, manual shows main beam bulbs as the upper-two of the four lamps as viewed from the bars... could be a miss translation :confused

The riders' manual picture (p106 in mine) is wrong - the captions are reversed. Everything else (wiring diagrams etc) is correct. As for the beam pattern apparently showing the high beam as lower than the dip - that is an optical illusion. If you use a test rig, you'll find it's correct. :thumbup

Cool perfect. Like I said surprised MOT man never said anything. Just the other day on a ride-out everyone loved the bright lights! Bl***y manuals!
