Headlight issue

Just took delivery of an 07 t yesterday, took it for fuel last night and was hit by a barrage of oncomimg main beams. since discovered that top lights ( according to the manual should be high beam) are on when on dip. simple remedy would be to swap the wires me thinks, but they are to short, If i ride on main beam, the lower lamps are on. could be an mot failure come next may. Anybody else got this? Looks like it was like this from factory. Oh! hello by the way, just registered tonight.

The top pair of lights are low beam. They come set from the factory for opossum shooters. You need to adjust them via the hex adjusters just below and to the outside of each light.

Had the same issue they simply need adjusting.

What colour scheme you got then on the T??

Had something similar happen on my Triumph Sprint ST. the difference was, the lights were adjusted too low. Took it over to a friend of mine and he helped me adjust it. Everything was fine after that. Simple procedure, just adjust it and everything will be OK. Welcome to the board!

ok, adjusting it is then, mind you i could leave it, see what happens when mot due. manual must be wrong, thought it looked like a dodgy traslation.
managed to get oot on the t today, cant stop grinning.went oot first with standard cans on then came back and fitted akrapovics, whipped the baffles out and back oot again,sounds great now. Flo red/white is the colour since you asked mpgscott, it came from your neck of the woods, up in Ellon, the guy traded it for a 1098.
