Here's a general question for the populous on here. Just to get this out of the way, I did research this topic (like I always do) and came up short handed.
I've heard from a few people that the stock headers that come on the Mille's (mine is a 2007 RSV1000R Mille) breath very well and that there's really not too much difference between the stock headers as opposed to aftermarket headers (arrow, akrapovics, leovince etc.). Have you guys had any experience with this? I generally don't like to skim on parts and I generally buy full exhuast systems (then again I've also only owned inline 4 japs). My curiosity is wondering if it would really be worth the extra coin it would take to get the full system as opposed to the slip on alone?
Also, what are the relative power numbers I could hope to see from a slip on as opposed to a full system? I can go by manufacturers ratings, but I tend to think those are a bit biased. :dunno
