[/IMG]Ok as some of you know I have replaced all the lights mirrors and plastics on the Mille to get it ready for my son. Anyway bought a tank from a member to replace his. But the flange is leaking like a sieve. Anyone here that can help? I did a search but didn't find any long term fixes. This is my 16 year olds first bike and I will not put him on it if it may leak.. Needless to say my wife gave me heck for buying it and now more since it leaks.

well, it's too much for a 16 year old in the first place! are you trying to get him killed? anyway...

the long-trem and (very) cheap way to fix it is 2-compound expoxy. jb weld is an example...

It's his with rules.he has to take a course get his license, ride with me beside him for 6 mo. Then take a ridesmart course. Then well re evaluate to see if he's ready. Plus he's not your average 16 year old.

New problem the fuel cap assembly sits 1/2" lower in the tank than on the other one. Did they make two that year??

i wish i had a dad like you, getting me one of these at 16......i got a white honda melody with a white top box on the back!!!!!!!!
