Anyone out there know if Aprilia have fixed the slippy pillion seat and dodgy sidestand on the new T4?????:banghead

Not wishing to tempt fate, but my 2012 model side stand seems fine. Slippy seat I agree, but then I never sit still long enough to worry about it!

Just have to keep it in the back of your mind and make sure you don't park facing downhill even a slight incline, these stands sit pretty well upright.

I'm not recommending this for the Aprilia as I don't know the side stand and if the mod would work but the Kawasaki ZRX has quite an upright side stand and the mod involves removing some metal from the stop bracket. What you end up with is the stand leg comes forward by a few crucial degrees and provides more confidence. It was the first thing I did with my ZRX. Food for thought.

Mines a 14 model and yes the stand is still **** , bought a US spec one off ebay for Â£70 and its 10 times better , cant say about the pillion seat as i dont sit on the bugger :thumbup

i only find the seat slippy in textile pants ..fine in leathers
