Whether ya like him or not ya gotta take ya hat off to him, Crap start and the 1st lap he ends up in 5th place, then before ya know it he's in 1st place and pulling away fom the rest, ends up more than 3.5 seconds ahead, makes riding look easy :thumbup:thumbup:thumbup:thumbup

Brilliant stuff.
As I've said before, I prefer watching WSB and BSB to MotoGP, but just watched that and what a corker of a race.
Nearly 97,000 spectators.

Not only winning easily but being the ONLY rider who could get away with wearing a helmet with a picture of his gurning face on it.....Quality talent with a sense of humour....not something you find in many sports-stars these days!!

Rossi is up there being one of the most talented riders to grace this earth and he proved that the season he went to the yamaha team and won the world chamionship in the first season on a bike that loads of riders in previous seasons could do fook all with he is simply a Legand.
And watching the GP today and an interview with Nicky Hayden he said if it wasn't for Rossi he would not be earning the money he is because of the publicity Rossi has bought the GP arena.

he;s fantastic,what a rider and a brilliant attitude with it,even when he doesnt win,unlike gibernau and biaggi used to be.
blaming their bikes ect,as sharky said,he rung that yams neck and won the title.
usualy like wsb but finding it boring this year,theres only haga and bayliss worth watching.
bsb still great viewing,but the road racings the best by far,ive got all the tt dvd's from 1980's till 2007 and nw200,an ill be adding this years too when theyre released.

Yeah, it does sound a bit posh doesn't it. The wife's influence - she's a posh speaking English lecturer! Actually, it wasn't what I was calling 'em when I had to make small talk and I could have been watching highlights on TV. Never mind, tonight I can. (Whoops, I almost said, this evening I can).
