hi all, my bike arrived yesterday and i am immensly pleased!!!!!

it has a standard exhaust and hasnt been derestricted. Becuase of a light scuff on the end can the seller bought a replacement which was included in the sale.

Im just wondering if it has been derestrcited already - does the restriction feature in the next of the pipe or is it further down??

Heres a pic of the neck:

Yes, if it was still fitted you would see it. It is welded just inside the start of the link pipe.

Do yourself a favour though and ditch the std can as it weighs a ton, a race can with baffles will be a bit more rorty whilst not being too loud and weigh at least 4kgs less.

yeah get rid of that boat anchor!!
( I got a nice Ti Akra going cheap cheap!!)

I can take some if you are interested mate. There is no carbon strap(20 quid from akra), and two scratches on the first end cap from my supertechs(would polish out), o/w its in great nick, it also has the Ti link pipe which is normally 100 squid.Looks ace blued
So ..thats 450 quids worth for 160 plus postage mate.(and you will save kilos and get about 5 bhp and 2-5 ft-lbs torque once set up-and you will deffo notice the weight diff) Let me know if you want some pix.
cheers Andy

PS- it looks similar to the one in my garage pix(oval Ti) although the can in my pix is the large bore one so its a bit bigger

hmm, i may be interested - though not til the new year! - does it need a chip to match??

no chip needed matey. its designed for the mille.
geez a shout in the new year, cos I may well still have it
cheers Andy

right well ive just tried to derestrcit my bike and............

its already done! saved me a job but f*ck me i hope a sports zaust makes loads of difference to the sound!! my 748 made a lovely growly bassy sound and the mille sounds like its ready for a pipe and slippers by comparison (at low revs).

withe a decent zaust will a Mille sound anywhere near as good as the Ducati's???

yeah really rorty, unlike the dukes dry clutch that sounds like a bag of gravel in a washing machine!!

its just a shame that the clutch is out nearly all the time!! tho I stil like the sound of dukes, I prefer my Akra large bore 107db(thats LOUD!!) on the mille, even with plugs I can hear the airbox(or lack thereof )and the roar of the akra..music to my ears.
