has anyone fitted a 04 seat tail unit to a 02 mille?

Hi everyone newboy on here lol! I am preparing my 02 mille for the track and I was wondering if anyone has fitted the newer style seat tail unit from the 04 mille onto the 02 mille? Thanks John

i would also like to see any answers to this one. I had a basic look at the factory subframe when at the dealers and it looked like it would need pretty major alterations to fit

it can be done and looks spot on

i'm gonna do it when i get my project underway again

the subframe mounts need adjusting
basically need to use all the rear end

and blend ya seat or modify a later one

well worth the effort in my eyes

Gotta dissagree buddy. Its the front of the early model which needs changing. The back ind is sweeeet.

do a search on the apriliaforums site - theres a couple of guys that have done the complete gen 2 bodywork swap onto the gen 1 bike. Just remembered after spending some time searching I had the link: bodywork swap
