Co. Durham - England
The weather over at the lakes this week end does not seem too bad.

Hartside Pass for dinner looks promising if anyone is interested.

Which part of Durham you from, and what time were you thinking of going?
I could be up for a ride out.

I live in Wingate, not far from the Fir Tree pub.

We intend to set off at 10:30 saturday.

A couple of the local lads on a variety of bikes.

You are more than welcome to join us.

Which way do you normally go to have a meet point?
I tend to go from Sunderland, Cheter le st, Witton Gilbert, Lanchester, Wolsigham, Stanhope. Killhope mine way.

Grin,
apologies, I normally use the T-Zone from work. I checked in from home on saturday morning & responded to your post via the e-mail that I get when there is a post for me.

Perhaps it has gone straight to your e-mail as it has not appeared on the T-Zone as a reply.

Anyway, it was a jolly day out, cold & windy at Hartside Cafe but warmer in Penrith / Pooley Bridge.

My mate went on a newish Blade, I had a good test ride on it back from the lakes to kirby Stephen.

Once it was wound up, it was super smooth & fast, but I kept on looking for more gears.

It was like riding a two stroke, when overtaking I had to kick it down a couple of gears to get some sort of decent acceleration that is available from the T just off the throttle.

It re-inforced my decision to have the T.

Sounds like you had a good ride out. No worries about the post mate. The wife had me doing bloody painting instead.:thumbdown
I know what you mean about the blade, I had a 954 one yrs ago, enjoyed it, but not a patch on the T.
Will catch up some time.
Cheers
