Glad I was talked out of fitting a part worn now. Had a new front to go with the new rear tyre, put on this morning and she's like a new bike!
Put 50 odd miles straight on it, didn't want to come home. Steering and stability are **** hot now. I hadn't taken proper notice of how near to being knackered the front was when I got the bike a while back but having managed to 90% get my head round riding it like it was it feels a thousand times better now, I can ride it quicker with far less effort!
