Lost the other thread but anyway, been looking at the manual and also the PB setup guide and comparing suggested settings, in preparation for having a play at the weekend.

I have just noticed that the ride height should be adjustable, but the manual I am curently referring to is the US version on pdf I think.

Is my standard 2002 Mille adjustable for rear ride height? I think raising this and raising the front forks through the yokes by one ring would give me the feel I want - albeit probably worse on the wrists at low speeds!

Over bumps and through turns I don't think mine is far off as the damping is pretty controlled it's mainly the feeling that the front is too high compared to the front I don't like, I like my bikes to feel over the front wheel if you get me.

As Spoonz suggested before, I don't really wan't to muck around with the preload in an attempt to alter the stance of the bike, especially if I can raise the heoght alone and go from there.

dropping the forks and lengthening the shock together is quite a big change for the road.

5mm drop in forks makes a fair difference. I would do the forks first if i were you.

You might also want to consider tyres. If your on a 190/50 rear go 180/55 or 190/55. a 190/55 is nearly 10mm taller in the centre and 180/55 nearly 5mm.

OK, I will have a pop at the front then first. Just renewed my rear tyre for a 180/55 when I got the bike.
