Has anybody tried removing the aluminium rings that are between the handlebar risers and the yoke in order to lower the bars?

If so, were there any problems and how did the bike feel afterwards?

I thought of trying this as I fancied getting a little bit of weight towards the front end. As a trial, and on a whim, I loosened the bars and tilted them forwards very slightly. Still comfortable and weight distribution feels better.....maybe not everybody's cuppa but works for me.

Nope, just took a few seconds to do &, like I said, it works for me. I think you might get increased vibes if you bin the bushes

As I feared at the TT recently I struggled to keep the front end down on the longer climbs across the mountain section, so on your recomendation I tilited my bars forward a few degrees. It was much better, but still didn't stop the problem (I also think my stearing damper is shot) but will definatly leave them where they are. Thanks for your help!!
