I just purchased a 2000 RSV Mille 1000 that has 1500 miles on it with original factory tires. Bike has not been started or ridden in a long time, probably 2012 from the license plate. The mileage is accurate.
I understand this year / version of RSV's has some items that need correction or upgrades to make the bike a solid operational RSV. Asking the forum for guidance, direction, links, examples, hints of things I need to do to this beautiful black beast.
First problems of note are;

First problems of note are;
- Dead Battery
- clutch is non-existent with no fluid in reservoir
- seller indicated a fuel delivery problem exists
- Tank top filler is rusty
- tires are original / flat
