GSXR 1000 sidestand chop

the postie dropped the gsxr sidestand off today, got it fitted and shortened it about 1/2". may need more, what do you think?

its what i did, i welded the foot back on though.....took a tad bit more off mine i would say

i didnt weld the blob on the bracket as it sat far too upright so the stand does sit further forward to help.

looking at your bike on the stand stand i think i will chop it a bit more.

Gsxr side stand on our ape, our ape has also been lowered by about 1" using a custom made ohlins rear shock (pictures hosted on af1 profile), still decided we want to chop another 10mm or so out of stand to get it over a touch more.
