Was out for a run decided to stop at the. Bank and pay a check in turn her off undress and head in to the bank queue is almost out the door turn red and walkout.
Back to the bike she is only 10 mtrs from the door redress put the key in turn her on and zip no sweep no lights nothing as if there is no battery on her
Get the bike home (I have a van as I am a plumber) remove the alarm thinking that is was that checked fuses and battery ans still nowt.
Any ideas ?

Firking,

It has to be said....have you checked the obvious Kill Switch? ?

I noticed once that my alarm if left in "Service Mode" and then the key turned "on" without switching alarm off, then the bike's fuel pump would not prime and therefore no start. Just a thought.

First thing I would check is the battery. Put a multi meter across the terminals and see what the voltage is. Then start the bike and do the same running at about 3000 revs, when running you should see above 14v. If not, check the "brown connector", do a search and you will see what I mean. If it is this connector the battery won't be charging.

Dump the alarm mucker,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,fukk all but trouble. :yes

What model/year/ bike?
So you have already removed the alarm?
How did you check the battery? You need to check the voltage with ign off,...then ign on,...and then with the starter button pressed.

She is fixed
The voltage drop was 9 volts between ign off and on
Battery was fine and charging
It was not the normal things ie kill switch or any other switches
How could I check if the battery was being charged if it did not run as I said in my first post
Turned out to be a broken wire at the side of the ecu.
I have a very experienced mechanic friend that got it sort for me yesterday.
The alarm has now been removed as it was driving me mad every time I went into the garage
