Hi, my name is Andy, and I'm a noob to the RSV 1000, had a few RS125's and then a 95 Blade, recently sold the blade, now have just got myself a very clean and mint 2003 RSV.

thanks buddy, haven't picked mille up yet, just had the "snip" yesterday so that's postponed for a week, but looking forward to the 350 mile ride home from SE England.......

Enjoy the ride by the time you get back to sunny Scotland you will have had plenty of time to get used to it.

thanks, just unlearned on the power delivery, plus will be riding on new rubber, which does breed some apprehension in my inexperience of the bikes manners.......

You will be fine mate they are not that aggressive my mate's ZX10R is way more brutal and if you went from a 125 to a Blade I think you will be cool just give it 100 miles or so And gradually increase your lean on the many roundabouts you will come across. One little word of warning though, I went from a ZX7R to the mille and the biggest thing I noticed was how quickly the rsv turns compared to the ninja almost lost it at the first roundabout by pushing the bars with the same force as I've been used to needless to say the mille fell on its ear very quickly nearly catching me out!

Thanks, she was an impulse buy lol, had just sold the Blade, depressed......thought bugger it......viola new bus lol
