Been enjoying reading for the last year or so. Had my 2002 RSV Mille for about a year and it's been the best ride I have ever owned. Have a good mate who owns a 88 Duck and we ride on the weekends up in the Angles Forest. I also ride my bike to work weather permitting (Edwards AFB). My bike turns heads everywhere I drive it. a couple of years back, nobody knew what an aprilia was, now I get stopped at lights here in the Southland and get thumbs up from a ton of people. Unfortunately, I low sided it up in the mountains on MLK Birthday. They had sanded the areas because of the recent snows and I caught a patch that I couldn't see. Broke the left handle bar and did other damage. I was fine but my "mistress" (as my wife calls her) was damage and I was extremely sad. Pride was hurt more than anything but never the less, I was put out. Anyway, my mate works on them as well and he said we will have her back on the road in no time. Just wanted to let the board know that we appreciate all the good vibes that are posted and it is an addiction. Cheers
