Great Ride Yesterday..

Like many others, had a great ride out yesterday

Harrogate / Masham / Leyburn / Hawes for some scran,

Then Kirby Longsdale / Thwaite / Muker / Reeth / Leyburn / Harrogate

Roads were fairly quiet, with a good mix of corners...

Pic from me phone (but doesnt do it justice) scenery was stunning !

lol, mate of mine had a nice looking 999s carbon fibre thingy that cost over Â£13k new. Spent more time in the garage than on the road during the year he had it. When he finally got it running & set up how he wanted, he wrote it off!

No, the rear. Was following him on a nice twisty section & thought to myself christ, looks like he's losing the rear. He was, then it gripped & hi-sided him at about 70mph (honest gov, never sure who's lurking on here, lol). He followed the bike sliding down the road on his arse thinking ok, damage to one side, not to bad. Came to a gradual stop against the kerb, bike fliped up & folded in half around a lampost, so not ok!

Makes me chuckle as he is a police motorcycle rider in the rapid response unit thing & holds the advanced rider training groups, so is quite good on 2 wheels, when I see him I like to remind him otherwise :lol

Ironically, said stranded duke rider was takin the piss out of me.... it was my bike that made it home with the bottom of the engine slightly splattered with oil - luckily its just one of those ***** clamp jobbies on the oil cooler hose so its a jubille clip and jobs a good un...

Italian eh...
