Hi all,
I have been trying to find a grab rail for my 55 plate rsvr and i cant find one anywhere and was told no one made one, so i decided to make my own, Its made from 16mm dia tube and powder coated black, it mounts under the seat where the seat strap fits, and to the main subframe under the seat near the rear light, no mods are requried to the bike but i had to file off abount 1/2mm of plastic from underneath the seat( theres a small moulding ridge at the back of the seat not seen when the seat is fitted).
If anyone is interested i could make some more, i would sell them for about £50 - £60 depending on how much i can get the powder coating done for.
I've tried my hardest to upload some photos but nothing seems to work, if anyones got any ideas how i can let me know, otherwise i can email pics to people.

Thought i'd try again with the advice i got let me know if it works.

Looks good Lee, BUT I think it would look better if the hoop bit was a bit lower

when I had my TL1000R I chopped up the grab rail to make it sit lower to the bike(sorry dont have any pics though)

just my 2p :dunno

Cheers for your comments guys,
The loop in the pic does look high but when you actually see the bike it doesn't look that high because of the way the seat and the light unit rise up in the middle. if it was much lower you'd struggle getting your hand around it.

I haven't taken any pic's of the mounting sorry, but it mount's to where the seat strap normally fastens and to the subframe mount near the light, here's a pic of the frame on its own though.
