Hi, not posted on here for a while so Happy New year to all of you.
I have a Gen 2 and am thinking of putting a few things on while its away for winter.
Although in truth its not off the road much.
Anyway. new air filter, K & N or Piper cross and does removing the round air restrictor off
the airbox make any difference ?
Also are the Evotech exhaust hangers any good.

Nowt wrong with a standard air filter.The K&N Piper Cross ones claim to offer more flow and all that,...but its b.s.Save yerself some money and just fit a standard filter.I removed the restrictor plate off my airbox and cant tell any difference whatsoever.Some folks claim more noise and power,but I cant say that I have.
I had a set of Evotech hangers on my T.They were fine and dandy,although the supplied bolts aint great.I used some nice stainless bolts off ebay to fit mine.

Have to agree with Keith on this one , took the restrictor out on my first T , didnt notice any difference at all so didnt bother on my second one ....

i,ve resisted the temptation to remove the air restrictor, as there is no concrete physical evidence that there would be any improvement or gain .

a gain would result in removing the standard air box top to increase the physical size increasing air flow at the same velocity .

i have some evotech exhaust hangers fitted to my gen 2 , they are super light and look real good quality .
