Evening all ,
I'm just wandering if any of you have tried this particular model of Maxxis at all ? I've had Maxxis on a previous bike and
found them to be very good but specifically has any one tried the "Supermaxx Diamond" version ?http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300834605631?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
Despite the weather I've still managed to get out the bike making the most of the odd good day here and there , but alas
my original Dunlops on my Gen2 , nearly 5 years , and just over 7k mileage later, I think I've seen the best of them !
Your thoughts appreciated .:cheers

Mucker am sure The slayer will chip in wae some info on the maxiss, he's ran them fir most of 2012.

As far as Sport touring tyres go, i fitted them P Angels. The rear got 5K until toast wae nae issues. But am no as fast as the muckers on here.

Agreed.

I've used Pirelli's many times in the past & always come back to them. Excellent tyres. Have to agree with STiX about the stradas, cheap & get good write ups.

You want to get the 55 rear...not the 50...much much better turn in on a 190 (providing you're not too much of a short arse )

lol I am a bit of a short arse , and I'm on tip toe just on one side - I can't tip toe with both feet even :laugh

Cheers , I'll have a look at the Angels - I'm not particulary fast either so I tend to be tyre friendly !

Just read this thread, tbh I wish I had went for the angels. The diamonds are ok but I have had a couple of slides oan them mainly in wet conditions though

Thanks everyone , a 180/55/17 wasn't an option due to me being a short arse - however I did buy a set of Continental Conti Motion , £142 all in , have done 300miles on them - they are not bad at all !
