Mirror option 1 keep OE mirrors and put up with looking under elbow

Mirror option 2 keep OE mirrors and add spacers

Mirror option 3 get aftermarket mirrors that a longer

What do you lot think of these for option 3

look real nice to me mate. as for vision, think its more a personel preference thing
 
Option 3 are nice.

Got a similar set for my mates 998S after he binned it, look nice on the bike but the field of vision is still not brilliant.
 
These work out to be about 50-60 mm longer than the OE mirrors and at £30 i think i will try them
 
Ive kinda got use to the lift the arm and have a peak trick, a few on here have done option 2 with good results, them mirrors look alright tho mate, are they compatable with the aprilia indicator relay tho, ref bulb wattage, ive had hell of a job getting aftermarket indicators to work and so has Gaz, ended up with 6 watt fronts and 21 watt rears, just a thought but worth a mention before you possibly buy em mate :thumbup
 
Are the original aprilia ones LED ? if not i think you will have to fit a relay type rectifier type of thing to keep the flash rate normalish
 
The 04 are bulbs still but i think the same watts. i know about the added resistor and will look into it
 
I don't think they are as svelte as the standard ones, Bubseywoos extenders work brilliant IMO and don't look out of place at all, in fact if you did not know they were there you would think they were part of the standard kit, check them out in this pic, difficult to spot really:thumbup

As with Badger, option 2, Bubseywoo mirror extenders with the standard mirrors.
 
Was just browsing in the Hein Gericke catalogue and they have a multi function flasher relay unit, replaces all standard relays regarless of wattage, operated between 10-15 volts and can be used with up to 4 LED indicators. £19.99..
Though I think I'd go for the Mirror extensions, unless I'd dropped the bike and smashed a mirror..

Seen them on ebay before, but non now..Another place is Motech Mirror extenders..
£41.68 a pair..Tel 01784 229666 mail order.

Those mirrors are roughly the same price as the extenders, I would buy the mirrors, try them, if you don't like them ebay em, someone should give you what you paid for them
 
BB, stick with the original mirrors with bubseywoo extenders. Those aftermarket mirrors are gonna look pretty naff. They're more at home on 125cc chavcyles than your RSVR. Just my opinion though you understand fella :thumbup
