I own a mint gen- 2 / 2007 Tuono 1000R that due to a painful arthritic right knee,i may have to part with her....
I'm tall,long legged and cannot get comfortable these days on her and after about 15-20 min of riding my leg hurts..I had no intention of selling the tuono as i love it a lot ! Unless i can find a set of rearsets tailored for tall lon legged riders i will have to part with her.
It has 20k miles and LOTS of expensive and meaningful upgrades.I would consider trading her for a nice low mileage 2006-2013 YAMAHA FJR1300 w/ manual transmission only.My stiff and sore late 50's aged ''carcass'' will have to go sport touring for the right reasons....LOL ! Any thoughts or ideas..???...... I have nearly $20k invested in this Tuono and it has to be one of the nicest GEN 2 units available on the entire PLANET !.....Michael@ (623)633-2059...
