Dynamo, thanks for the time and effort you put in to getting this info, it is much appreciated, I have decided to have them powder coated as close as possible to the gold on the discs if the guy can get that near, thanks again,The gold wheels are anodised, and are manky also. Hard to bloody clean no matter what I use it still looks dirty
Dont know if anyone has matched the anodised colour, though i saw a post about the frame colour gold which is slightly darker
found the codes but it could be the darker bronzy colour im not sure
" The frame colour is Lechler 02175 Gold Dream Evo mixed paint (its actually a Ducati colour)
Formulation for 1ltr =
Base HF 214 (468.2 quantity they did not tell me if this is weight or ml) /
HF 107 (223.2) /
HF422 (126) /
HF696 (108.0) /
HF236 (68.4) /
HF689 (43.2) /
HF008 (5.6) /
HF181 (2.0) Total quantity = (1044) but they said this is ok "
Its just as easy to pop into a paint dealer and look at the colour cards and as your not actually matching a colour already on the bike it would not matter if it was slighly out
Cheers MICK,keep the blue m8 , try wd40 to clean them , best cleaner for the oz wheels ive used
I know what you mean, I have a blue set to go on my 05 red/black RSV, but they just don't look good. I'm struggling to decide between red and gold, a problem I've solve with the track bikeI just dont like the blue, they just dont go with the bike.
£45-£60 per wheel.... thats better than i thought. Dont think ill be buying "genuine prilly" bearings tho..... off to a factor it will be....
Right, next time tyres are due..... Black it is !
