I say yey. They suite the bike, the image, the colours, everything.
It's what sets the T factory apart from the rest. It's an Italian thing. It says SPECIAL/DIFFERENT/THE DOGS BOLLOX.

Well to me anyway.

my gold frame on the 2003 Red and gold T is a Yes. (Just about)

The new gold frames on the later models for me is a NO.

Beauty is subjective - in the eye of the beholder and all that.

All I can say is I'm f*cked if I'll ever spend any of my hard earned on what I consider to be an ugly bike, and

Long live the BLING!!!:thumbup

Nah, If I had my choice I'd say no to the gold frame.I lived in italy for a number of years and yeah the italians can be a bit of a peacock when it comes to styling and showing off but the color coordination of the Factory is more LA, Downtown Compton, gangbangers showinn' their culu's yeah,my hommie!! More 50cent than Prada for me but that's not stopping me from gettin' one!

The ohlins do it for me, the oz wheels do (maybe even in gold, on the right colour scheme) and the carbon trinkets would all sit very well on my own T given the chance but the frame itself... nahhhh, i'll pass.

Much prefer the silver and to be honest it's what put me off looking for a Factory more than the extra cash req'd.

But beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, so I'm glad you all like it.

ah'd hae wan the same as nobbi's pent scheme, if only the frame wis black, **** knows hoo they dinae, as ma factory rsv wis black an it wis the dugs baws, come on prilly, listen tae the voice o a generation an pent the hoors black

As 'av said afore Yer feck'd if yer seen the frame when yer doin whit y've got it fir. Plain english, I thought you bought a bike to ride it, or are you all a bunch of ? anyway it's horses for courses, you like, you don't like. Personally I think the combination of gold colours is wrong, but shure as feck I wanted one. I just divert my gaze to more attractive areas.

gold frames ??? im sure george michael likes em !!
but the ****** bikes are sommat else , awesome !! :thumbup

Gold frame - No way. Its as bad as having your name on the back of your lid....:thatsgay

Black would of been the way to go.

Flick.
Say you had an offer of pick the T you want at no cost to you, but it was the only T you could own. What would you choose.

Not sure I follow Aldo, but one with no gold and no crap anodised fasteners or rad covers. There is being different for sure but there is also just not cool.

He means. You have 9 grand and you can buy one Tuono off the shelf and not **** about with it and keep it for a while. Which version of T would you buy ?

Aldo's been surfing a lot lately. :cheers

I`d have the one with the gold frame :thumbup (all the top gear) and paint it black with the money I`ve saved .
I suppose you get used to the gold frame but I would rather have the black.
I saw one painted black on some site . An American had he`s done and looked well

I reckon the bikes should be in disruptive pattern, that way you could hide from the cops in the bushes, gold would reflect too much

i hate the gold frame so ugly thats the reason i bought an r model , just need some light wheels now already have all the carbon, ohlins rear .not going to bother with ohlins forks i think a revalve n spring upgrade will give the same performance from the showa's at a fraction of the cost ! well unless i can find a set of ohlins cheap cuz they is bling !

Front forks aren't that bad once you replace the rear POS shock.

I thought about it, but my first Tuoldo was an R, and I loved it to bits, but I spent a fortune bringing it to Factory spec. I got Factory money for it when I sold it, but nothing like what I had spent.

So this time I bit the bullet & bought the Factory. I love the paint scheme - tank/tail/nose, but I am still not convinced by the frame/wheels.

I did think about stripping it this Winter and having the Frame, swinging arm and wheels done black, or even black frame and red wheels like a Nera. However the bike is still in Warranty and as Windy buggered his big ends first time he gave it the berries I thought I had better keep her standard for this year at least. :dunno

Watch this space.

I see... I tinker all the time, I ride almost every day although this winter is the first that I have had a car also ( VW T5 ) so buying a new bike would NEVER happen:kicknuts I always buy CAT C or bits and play. Rarely do I clean my bikes, they almost always end up all black too, as racing shades attract the pig's eh. err... any way... blah

Not a gold one. :bigfinger
