He wanted to palm me with £20 for a new indicator, when the front frame is bent.
It was the scariest experience of my life, and the adrenaline took forever to leave the system.

lucky escape mate! at least you were not injured, unless you hurt your neck and it came on afterwards (hint hint!!):devious

hope your ok tho mate.:roll Don't people ever use their mirrors !

I suppose not in London :jack's

In hindsight I should have called the Police there and then, but the adrenaline rush was like nothing I have ever experienced in my life. Luckily the speed was 20ish. The ***** decided to perform a U-turn from the left hand lane, and I was in the right hand lane, and for reasons I fail to explain, I managed not to drop the bike. It's in the hands of the insurers now, I just hope The traffic division has CCTV in the area.
But my right forearm is aching badly now, even writing hurts.

Should have palmed him off with a smack in the mouth he would have deserved it the:jack Thankfully it was only slow speed and your ok mate thats the main thing :thumbup

Glad to read your OK mate, bloody car drivers are a nightmare round London.

A dozy tart in a BMW X5 tried to take me out the other week when I rode in to London, gave her the bird as I avoided her and she had the cheek to honk her horn at me. If I hadn't of been in a rush I'd have pulled over and applied a few bodywork modifications to her X5.

At least it wasn't the RSV, is the Diversion dead now then or can it be rebuilt?

I did my superman impression after a mondonkey driver decided to pull out on me on a roundabout, they just dont give a sh*t, good job its "only" yer winter hack mate could of been a lot worse. really grips my **** that tho.

Right shoulder and right arm is hurting, so a trip to the doctor is called for. Now everything is affected because some pratt could not be bothered to look in his bloody mirror, let alone looking over his bloody shoulder.

Sorry to hear of your accident. It's not too late to inform the police, and if I were you I would. The :jack car driver will probably try and blame you going too fast blah blah blah. If it ends up going to court, you could end up getting pulled apart by his solicitor.

If you get the chance I would do the following:

1) See a GP about your wrist, get it recorded on your medical records
2) Go back to the scene and take photos and make a record of exactly what happened times dates etc. Add to the good photos you already have.

These things can take months to be dealt with, so the notes can aid your memory. In my opinion, just tell the truth. It's easy to lie about injuries, but this just makes you as bad as them. Tell the truth, provide the evidence and you have a good solid case for a win which is what you deserve.

Good luck and keep us posted! :thumbup

Glad to see you're o.k, I would also have rung the police as 10/1 in Lewisham that there's no insurance on the car, or likely driving licence or tax etc... in my Lewisham experience :roll

At least they gave me a hire hack (bike) as I do not fancy taking the Mille-R in the rain anymore.

Today is the first day I managed to stay of painkillers, and it always was a cocktail of Ibufrofen (1000mg), Paracetamol (1000mg) and Codeine (16mg). Great stuff.

Just heard from my insurance that the car driver is disputing liability, so I call the police traffic department to try and get my hands on the CCTV footage, only to learn that my report has been lost in the post and the police has no record.:angry
I am so enraged that the system does not work....

Bloody hell. I know where that is jsut down from Lewisham station. It's a dodgy stretch of road, seems to bring out the ***** in most car drivers as they try to jump the queue by one car.
Hope the smashed window is from when you nutted the driver one, lol ;)

Got my Divvy back yesterday. CAme back at night, looked at it and could not believe what a great job the company had done. It looks bloody new.
