Does anyone on the forum have any contact details for swsupermoto ???
I paid for the Gilles Rearsets almost a month ago and still not delivered and no response to PMs sent on here or emails sent to his Paypal email address. Looking at other other forums he appears to have messed others about.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I will be invoicing him tonight via Paypal for a full refund.

I purchased A set of PFM Discs from swsupermoto a few months ago.I live in Australia & did not receive the discs untill about 7 weeks after i purchased them they must have got held up in the post some how.,I tried to email swsupermoto a few times and no response for about 2/3 weeks ,he must work away or only check in once a month. , I was thinking of invoicing him for a full refund. then i received a email to say that they had been posted & not to worry ,a few days later they came. I think you will still get your rear sets .
If you do get a refund I have a set of Gilles rear sets for 99 to 03 model in titanium colour that i would sell for £150 shipped.I purchased them for my 03 rsvr I could not get them to fit properly on left side becourse of my exhuast pipe was hitting the gear lever as i have a twin system fitted. I purchased some rear sets from Griff at Aprilia Performance they fit perfect.

Exactly one month later and the rearsets were delivered. Got chance to inspect them properly today and there are parts missing. I would send them back and get a refund, but given the hassle to get them delivered I may end up with no refund. Lesson learnt - when using Paypal always send as payment for goods and not as payment to friend!! (the later is used so seller doesn't pay the fees).
Had they not been delivered on Friday then I could still get a refund via my debit card provider.
I have PM'd Marksie in the hope his set will do the job.

Just to clear up some issues. The parts were sent out straight away. As don't have a Rsv anymore I don't come on here. As soon as you contacted me through my paypal I replied giving a contact number etc. I offered a refund but confirm with paypal how it needed to be done. Tracked the items and there was nobody at the address to take the delivery. Paid the £4.50 redelivery charge to comply with paypal and contacted you to say they were on they way. Once again offered a refund. Then I had a email stated there were parts missing. So confirm that that's how they were and once again offered a refund. So please try not to state on here that I have done anything to tuck you up. You weren't in to take the item or didn't contact (apart though Rsvforum) to let me know they hadn't arrived.

Sorry to use this thread to ask a question but it's about the Gilles Rearsets. Just wondering what these are like compared to the Aprilia Performance Rearsets? I know GJ Bird said that they don't come with any bracket to relocate the rear master cylinder but can this be done at all? Cheers, Lee

Both rearsets are well made , my Giles did not have a brake lever so no mount .I think you can buy brake lever & mounts if you want ,
but mine had trouble with gear lever hitting on my twin exhuast system.Aprilia Performance Rearsets had more adjustments for me to find the best position for road & track & did not hit exhuast.

I bought TRW rearsets.
You can use the original brake lever or change it to mount on the rearset. Also use race or road gear pattern.

Combined with Apex riser clipons it gives a far more comfortable riding position and with very little weight on your wrists.
