Hi there,
I've just signed up (I'm actually a Ducati owner so please don't be too hard on me!)

My brother has recently purchased a 2006 Tuono and it's his birthday soon and I'm looking for some ideas for accessories as a gift and I was wondering what you guys thought were the best accessories for around 100 Euros for a Tuono?

Any tips appreciated.

BBR David

I'll be the first to answer seeing as i had a998s, Aprilia vee much better motor, even thou I am...was a Ducatisti to the hilt. 1098r would tempt me back.
Anyway, how about high rise front screen, would'nt mind one myself, carbon brake n clutch reservoir, carbon heel plates, blow up doll.......to go on the back!!

Jubilee clips ,gaffer tape, a good pair of walking boots, gloves , bob hat, thermals and toothpaste ???
To ensure a bright grin as that is what he`ll be doing all the time he`s on the "T"

Thanks for the ideas guys, almost fell off my chair reading some of those! Hector, I think you might also be a potential Ducati owner if you already have all those accesories!

The model is the standard one (I guess that's the R?) Here's a piccy that he sent me. Extra points for those who can tell me which of the aforementioned suggestions are already fitted to the bike and where might be the best place to buy said gift

Here's the picture . . . . .

got them from fleabay

Ideas

Had a look at those radiator guards, looked nice but the shipping cost from Aus adds like 50% to the price and I couldn't find anything as nice with cheaper shipping.

So I've made a purchase of some carbon tank pad side cover thingies from the UK. I hope he likes them, otherwise I guess I'll be fashioning them into a hugger for a duke :)

Thanks for your help

Look me up if your ever in Belgium

Yes, he is very happy with it (so much so that I haven't been able to blag a go on it yet!)

It seems to be a really nice machine

Thanks

David

If you do, you will wish you had'nt. As I said previous, it has a peach of a motor and light to thro around. What Duke do you have, and what made you buy one?

I'm sure I would like a Tuono a lot but the wife is unlikely to let me buy one, I've already got an old BMW 1100GS and an 06 Duc 999s so that's already one bike too many :) That said, the first gear on the 999 is too high really and the clutch is well heavy but it does ride very nicely.

Just got a copy of, Closer to the edge, TT dvd, cant watch it until santa's been though. Doh. If nobody has got it yet, I AM GOING TO THE TT NEXT YEAR. Get the f*ck in....
