Not a fekking chance I'm filming any of my rideouts :lol

I would either have to avoid having any fun at all or end up with some cnut in a uniform "confiscating" the memory card :lol

Good price though :thumbup

I recorded a short run to see if it worked, I'd be in jail if that went out. 90 on the back wheel at one point and into 3 figures in others (all in km) obviously

Worth remembering that's what Schumacher did in his Skiing accident! Diving into the rock headfirst caused his GoPro to act like a hammer, focusing the force, splitting his helmet. The rest is history.

Appreciate bike helmets may be more durable than skiing helmets, and the chances of that particular scenario is very low...

... But worth being aware anything mounted on a crash helmet could cause injury... Of course, that could be said... to a fractionally lesser degree... every time a rider mounts his steed!
But that's not much consolation to anyone in Schumacher's condition!

Just saying... for what it's worth!

I also know of riders that have inadvertently filmed their mates having fun and ended up with them getting prosecuted because it was all captured on helmet cams including reg numbers etc.

I like the idea of filming a rideout, but it also scares me that plod can seize your memory card or camera and butt fcuk you retrospectively.

always used a drift ghost on ride outs, not sure whether or not I will bother now but if the speedo isn't in view there should be no problem should there? I was thinking on getting one of those for euro trips as the ghost is quite large stuck on the side of the helmet. good price and thanks for the heads up.

Guy down south on the Gsxr forum I used to be on was out with his mate having great fun.

He got a knock at the door in the early hours of the morning and all his camera / computer equipment removed along with his GSXR 1000.

His mate that he had also filmed inadvertently with his action camera also got raided, bike impounded etc etc etc.

They both got their bikes back, but also lengthy bans due to footage that was posted on you'reatube :thumbup

It seems that only the lead rider should have a camera on a run out and obviously not with the speedo in sight. When you see the YouTube channels of the likes of Baron von grumble etc I'm supprised more haven't been paraded in the press

It's scary **** mate.

I feck off on my own if anyone in the group has a camera. I'm not the most sensible guy on two wheels and like to have a bit of fun, but also need my license for work.

put a bit of sellotape on the speedo display. stops it being visible on the camera.

i have a big old go pro on my lid. already proved it's vaalue when a blind painter and decorator pulled out at me.... f*ckwad

i agre fully with being said, used to mount my gopro on my handle bars, been wanting to film a day out for months, this is what happened the first day using the the gopro,
