Depends what time the group are meeting/starting off on Saturday mate. I wouldn't be doing an overnight stay, I saw on the other thread you are.
 
Cant make this one as im away to the Carfest (North).........crap planning on my behalf...

will be meeting around 8 ish mate and i will not be staying over as we have the grandson Saturday night / Sunday morning, if there are no takers for Keswick then i am sure we can arrange something else and meet around 9 ish
 
Couldn't do 8, have to take the Mrs to work, poss 9 ish all things being equal and all that jazz.

Anywhere as long as its not all dual carriage ways.

Maybe not for this ride, but the road from Kirby Stephen past Sedberge & onto Kirby Lonsdale is a cracker.

It could be incorporated into another full days ride out.
 
how about the below:
meet olaf 09:00hrs Littlethorpe
meet GF 09:30hrs chester
head up to the 68 and on to Corbridge - Carter Bar - Hawick - Langholm - Newcastleton - Kielder - Bellingham - Corbridge - Consett - Chester
this is a good 2 tank run and TBH i have never been on some of these roads ?
not sure but i think jnr may be out
 
Looks like its going to be a nice day as well.

Its out in the wilds up there, better make it a three tank ride out, its better to keep them topped up when you get the chance.

Saga might be joining us, anyone else ?

09;30 chester sounds good where abouts is the meet up point ?
 
Saga, its the car park on the right just off the roundabout heading towards Lumley Castle, west side of the river. Does that make sense to you?

should have enough in to get me up to Consett for my first fill up may even push as far as Corbridge depending on the pace

any more wanting to tag along are all welcome, meet at Littlethorpe roundabout Peterlee at 09:00hrs or the Riverside cricket ground Chester le street for 09:30hrs failing that if you want to meet somewhere along the route let me know.
