Folks, does anyone have a pair of arrows fitted to there bike? If so any chance of a shot of your db killers for my mot? Arrows are wanting £90 for them and I will only have them fitted for the mot.

Cheers

be surprised at anyone failing a bike due to noise level, at most i would expect an advisory. just go without mate

I called into my MOT station a short while before the MOT test & asked if they would pass.

Then its not a worry on the day.

Hiya mate, if you want to borrow some you can use mine.
Where are you based ?
Quill at Golbourne near Wigan will fabricate you some for about thirty quid.
I had some short ones made by them, not too loud and not too quiet.

change yer mot station pal, never ever been told or had advisory on loud cans.....

they cant fail it anyway..... you show me an mot station with a calibrated db meter...

Aye very true, i will take the bike in and see what they say and then i can play the show me the calibration cert. Out of interest what is the legal limits any ideas??

It has changed now noise is on the discretion of the tester and he can fail it for excessive noise , thats what the tester at Shorrocks told me

ok, i,ve searched this... and no..

as long as its not marked " for off road use only" yer fine..

so, no noise limit..

and if thats the case, they only look for leaks etc,

so take the cans off altogether................... no leaks... !!
