Hi everyone i'm gona get chain an sprockets for my 2005 gen 1 tuono an
just wana make sure I got it right it's 16 front and 44 rear thats been
found to be best.

I can't remember what the original sizes are (think it's 16/42), but I went one down at the front and 2 up at the back (so 15/44 me thinks). Makes it a lot easier to ride in traffic / commuting, and wheelies like you wouldn't believe (not recommended in traffic / commuting). Only down side is that it reduces the top end, but how often do you do more than 150mph to be able to notice?

hi fellas i checked and standard 05 gen 1 is 17 teeth front and 42 teeth rear
so i'll be going with 16/44 like Ric confirmed cheers guys take care all.

That's right mate.

I went for a Renthal front and a JT rear sprocket, ordered them from B and C express in Lincolnshire. ...very good service too.

I also bought the Tsubaki heavy duty gold x ring chain from them too mate.

Whole lot came to £193 Inc delivery.

The Tsubaki chain is a tough mother!....well recommended but not cheap!
