Hi everyone,

I recently joined the forum as I got my first Italian bike and decided it had to be the RSV (was previously looking old shape 900ss Dukes) and really pleased I went down the Aprilia road!

I'd done some reading up on these a while back and found a 2002 RSVR Haga edition down in Dorset (about 180 miles from me and rode it back with no problems - must admit I was kind of shocked for an Italian!). I believe it's a genuine replica with the blue trip tree (no.148) and duel akra exhaust set up plus from the history i got with the bike it shows the first owner had the plate put on from new. Just out of interest does anyone know how many came to the UK? if i read it right about 60 went to the states but couldn't find how many came here.

The decals are a little scuffed on both sides which look more like driveway drops rather than been down the road and it seems to have the usual can dents to match but it's straight, rides lovely and feels solid so at least mechanically it seems spot on. Just want to get it cosmetically right - things like i believe it should have carbon hangers for the cans and maybe tidy up some of the panels/decals.
I've changed the plugs, air filter and bought oil + oil filter but yet to change this as time is a bit limited at the mo but looking to get this done shortly.

Had a quick search round the site and looks like there's loads to be learned so looking forward to spending some time reading up these bikes properly.

Hopefully i've uploaded the pictures ok so you guys can let me know if you think its a good 'un:biggrin

Cheers
Carl

Welcome, that looks reallly nice! How much did you pay?

Hi mate thanks for the like, yes I'm really pleased with how it is at the mo but hopefully will shine it up a little more.
I got it for 2.5k, it has 17k on the clock with some history plus standard single can + pipework, pillion pad, original books and 6 months t&t. i'll be honest i jumped at it as knew a little about the Hagas & the limited run of them but does that sound about right?

Cheers

I know someone with the carbon hangers that might do a deal in part exchange for you's :)

Nice bike btw :)

lovely machine dude, previous owner had a bunch of keys in the ignition by the looks of the scuffing, the top yokes are lovely, the scuffing o the fairing might be down to a driveway tip, the stands were pretty crap as standard, unbalanced at est, from my research (lol) there is a redesigned stand to fix this or the stand from later blades apparently fit right in...............
