Hey All,

I am new to this and could use your help and advice. What tire make, model, and size do you recommend for my 2003 tuono. I like to ride both around town as my transportation, but also enjoy taking it out for fun on the weekends (more performance). I am looking for a tire that will give me good performance in the corners, but also good millage life as I don't want need to change tires too often. What do you think?

Tyres choices often come down to personal preferances, imo.
If you are happy with the tyres you have, why not simply replace with new?

Ive had Dunlop Sportsmarts for the last couple of years and cant rate them highly enough , great tyre .. but its all personal choice and depends on how hard you ride but all tyres are more than good enough now i think most people would be fine on sports touring rubber

Good advice Shotgun.

There is a lot of conflicting advice out there based on personal preferences.

If you are not doing track days, stick to the major manufacturers you should be OK.

Good advice from me !!! thats never happened before ...:lol

Yep...another vote for SportSmarts.
Great tyre.
You can pick them up for about £210 the pair from Oponeo.

I've been using Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's and their predecessors for the last few years. Plenty of confidence in the corners, even with only a little warming up. Not the cheapest, but it's what I've found I'm happy with. Like the others say, it's all personal choice, and most rubber is good enough there days unless you're throwing it round a track on its side!

Guys"¦

I've just fitted a pair of Michelin Power Pure's and have blown me away to be honest"¦.

2CT & LTT technology (lightest tyre)

:big thumb from me but it's all about preference

Pirelli Rosso II for me.
Tried Dunlops and Michey's,...i dont like the feel of them.A little too 'flighty' for me.The Pirelli's give me safe, predictable handling,...and thats the way I like it.

They dont last long though!:no

PIRELLI angel st on mine ...love em.. had pr2 on before as keith said a bit unpredictable and bolloxed at 4kt .......5k on the angels and easy 1k left on the rear and front looks unworn..
