Hi I've got a 2002 mille R and I can't faulty it's been a pleasure to ride I will be looking to upgrade probably early next year is the later model 2004 to 2009 any better or should I skip it and go straight for an RSV4 ????

Gen 1 vs Gen 2 you say? Try posting that on APs Facebook page and stand back.

The short answer is that whilst the gen 2 has more power, the gen 1 delivers its power in a more raw, aggressive manner (allegedly)

Opinions may differ.......
